UPDATE!!
Hello my fellow DEVIANTS! :D
Its been a while since ive written a journal entry, so i thought i would do a little update!
First of all, ive started a page on facebook called The Art of Brittnie Marcil, so i would appriciate it if you guys could go "like" it on facebook(: that would be extremely helpful, and encourage your friends to like it too!(:
Secondly, i am now in LOOOOVE((((((((((: so i have TONS of inspiration! so be prepared to see some amazing new peices soon!

Its been a year since i have started my Deviantart, and since i have been getting serious with my art. i havent been on very much, so a lot of my recent art isnt on here, but i will try my best to get them on(:
So many people have been coming to me asking for me to do peices for them, and im not gonna lie, a lot of my inspiration comes from all the wonderful artists on this site!

July 23, 2010 {Update}
hello ladys and gents, well i haven't been on deviantART in a LONG time, almost a month, i have been so busy with other things such as: enjoying my summer (cant blame me!), working on new peices (you're gonna like em' ;D), and entering my peice's into public displays and trying to get an early start on my art career. As some of you may know i haven't been contributing to my group, because i have been so busy, so i apoligize for that, and i have changed the settings so that my co-founders have full access to the group settings and such~.

So i finally have my new group Striving-Artists ( http://striving-artists.deviantart.com/ ) up and running.
I want to give a huge thanks to my co-founders!! You guys are a great help and i thank you~!
Feel free to join! Its for all artists for every media, to get noticed by one another, and to talk with other artists and to get to know eachother a little better =].

Hmm, getting into photography? 
Obviously I would recommend the camera that I use, or at least the brand. Canon is excellent, and you'll find that a lot of the successful deviant photographers here use one. Mine is an EOS Rebel T1i. It's not the best one out there, but it's adequate (as you can see from my gallery) and has a fairly decent price. My whole ensemble (camera and lens) cost me $780.00, but you may be able to find a better deal if you're willing to devote the time to look.
